These white, fast-dissolving stabilized Shine and Shock chlorinating granules are popular for spas and aboveground pools that need a quick dose of  chlorine prior to use.  A major advantage of Pool Pals granular di-chlor is that is is relatively pH neutral (6.8%). This means, as opposed to other forms of chlorine, there is little or no base demand required to maintain consistent water chemistry. Pals Shine and Shock granular is stabilized. This means each time it is added to your pool or spa, you are increasing the stabilizer (also know as Cyanuric Acid or conditioner) level. Be sure to check stabilizer levels on a regular basis when using di-chlor sanitizer.
